Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the safety of large scale events as a result of COVID-19, we’ve reimagined The Gala. This year we are thrilled to announce that our signature event is taking on an exciting new concept as a hybrid event. The Gala Goes to You, presented by Louis Mohana Furniture, brings a unique experience unlike anything we have done before. A captivating stage program will take place inside the Houma Terrebonne Civic Center, and we will broadcast everything happening from the stage to intimate watch parties planned throughout the region. Not only can supporters view from an official watch party, but anyone with a smart device will be able to stream the event from anywhere!

As always, 100% of the proceeds will stay right here in the Bayou Region to fund programs and services dedicated to our community. With your partnership, we are able to touch the lives of so many of our neighbors and families affected by this devastating disease. 

Due to the continued uncertainty of COVID-19, the Cancer Center is constantly monitoring the recommendations from the CDC and local authorities on gathering and hosting events. The safety of our guests is our primary focus and we will not host the gathering portion of our event if it is deemed unsafe. If we are unable to host any portion of The Gala Goes to You on March 10, 2021, we will work to determine an alternate, safe plan to honor sponsors and supporters for their tremendous contributions.
